About

The Postgraduate Program in Dentistry offers courses at the levels of Lato Sensu and Stricto Sensu. The program forms specialists, masters and doctors with qualification to develop activities of improvement, teaching and research in the different areas of Dentistry.

The Postgraduate Program began in 1995, contemplating Endodontics, Periodontics and Prostheatic Dentistry. Subsequently, in response to the demand, Restoretive Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology, Stomatology, Orthodontics, Radiology and Oral Implantology courses were inserted.

The Postgraduate Program in Dentistry is composed of a faculty with outstanding scientific production, the program has been distinguished at regional, national and international level by the partnerships and collaborations, being characterized as a program in growth and expansion, especially with respect to the development, improvement and innovation of techniques and materials, as well as the formation of human resources in the area of dentistry.

The Graduate Program in Dentistry aims to train critical, reflexive and innovative professionals; to enable dental scientists to lead groups and conduct multi, inter and transdisciplinary research; as well as prepare professor-researchers to change the profile of Dentistry.
